Description

An option to automatically start playing the next file in the folder by alphabetical order when playback of the current file ends would be great.

I was able to compile a change into my version of mplayer that allows the Playlist Next and Playlist Previous menu commands to open the next/previous media file in the directory if the current video is not part of a playlist, as well as a new playback type 'Sequential' (mutually exclusive with Loop) that does exactly what is requested here.
