Description

This bug started with Revision 89:
Don't hide player window when going fullscreen so that it can be used on a second screen.

If you have "enable animated transitions" enabled and switch between window and fullscreen mode, the video itself slowly moves upwards in the corevideo frame leaving a black border at the bottom. I just had a quick look at the r89. Using the commented out code in setFrame does not show this problem. I wonder why the NSViewAnimation is showing this behaviour.

I don't have this problem on my two macs.

Are you running Tiger?

I also witnessed this problem (the same as in the screenshots of #166) on a Mac running Leopard (Blanche's iMac).
It seems it has something to do with the Post Processing options. As soon as Post Processing was disabled, the problem was fixed but when I enabled it (any setting) the video got cut off again.

Leopard 10.5.7 here, just tried it again. For me it happens with post-processing turned off as well. But since you could not reproduce it I tried more files. I was only able to trigger this behaviour with files containing h264 video with a >=720p resolution. The container apparently does not matter since I see this both with mp4 and mkv files.

One more observation. The video is not just moving up it seems it is also zooming in to the bottom left corner.

I've released test4 with a potential fix:

Feedback much appreciated!

Hello Adrian,

Just tested it and I it looks ok for me. I am not able to reproduce the problem with my test files here.
