Hi,

first, thanks for a very good player.

VLC are now coming out with 64bit builds. Do you have plans to build a 64bit version of your player?

If it's easily feasible, yes. But currently I don't want to complicate my build system any more. Adding 64bit support would therefore probably mean to drop PPC support.

Currently, there's also not much reason to go 64bit at all costs. AFAIK the performance gain is minimal and 32bit is not going away for some time - even in Snow Leopard (the kernel is still running in 32bit mode except if you're on a MacPro or XServe and some Apple applications are also still 32bit-only).
