Play movies in split rar archives without having to uncompress it.

Currently I don't know if it's possible. There seems to be no support for it in mplayer itself and I don't think piping the unrar output to mplayer would allow seeking.

That sounds fairly useless to me. Just decompress the movie and throw the archives away.

absolutely NOT useless. if you wanna share your files after watching them, you have to keep the rars, thus lose hd space.

I'd to have this feature too. It would be very useful for JDownlaoder's downloads for example.
