Description

While I was at it, I decided to make some new icons too..
See them here: http://i49.tinypic.com/2heeoif.jpg

I'm thinking about how to make the distinction between audio and subtitles bigger, but I think this is a good start..

If anyone would like to have them, drop me a line.

I've updated them to have a shadow under the icon (as per Apple HIG)

I like.

But because I mostly use list view or small icons, the icons will look very white...

I would love to get the layered version (or the vector) of the MPE icon, so that I can change the 'play' graphic to other things (like text for the subtitle icon, or add some 'audio waves' for the audio icon). That would make it easier to distinguish between the different file types.

I found the layered illustrator file in the Repo. I'll see what I can do with it..

Please do, I'd definitely be interested in new file type icons.

I quite liked the first ones sveinn did post in the old forum:

But maybe they're too particular...

Update: Don't download these, use the link below. vv

I am not sure if these are any improvement over the current icons, but I thought I would try them out. I converted the provided png image to icns files, and edited the smaller sizes by hand to get them to look a bit sharper.

Oops, the movie.icns 32x32 image had 4 transparent pixels where they shouldn't have been. Grrrr. I wish I could delete the previous attachment.

Update: I also did a playlist icon for #397. If you want to use this icon you can extract it from the binary or source linked at 379.
