Can't play video after main window was closed

Description
When I play a Video file, then close the window (but MPE is still running) and I double click another video file, it will not play until I quit MPE completely, which is not the expected behavior. It should just open a new player window and start playing.
When I play a video and select another one without closing the player window first, the second video will play just as expected.
I tried completely reinstalling MPE (all plists deleted) and tested various cache and binary combinations but it didn't work.
The log says:

I am also having the same problem after I updated to rev 13.
I found the workaround for now to be to press [Command + P] to open up the player window and drag-and-drop the movie file onto the player window rather than the icon in the dock. This plays the video without having to restart MPlayer.

I tried with Cornerstone, but it asks me an ID and a password.
I don't know any ID and password.
How may I check in the modification?

The repository is not public. If you have changes you want to see applied to MPE, either post a patch to the tracker or send me a mail (preferably created using "svn diff").
