Unable to open any files after change in color to subtitles

Description
When I chose for the text color to be white for subtitles, I clicked into one of the blank areas on the Apple Color Picker. After that, the player was not able to open any files at all. This happened in both rev14 and rev13 when I tried to downgrade. I tried recreating this in rev12 and I did not encounter the same problem.
