rev13-test3 released

Added by Adrian Stutz about 2 years ago

New in rev13-test3:

  • Further major refactoring. Many things could be broken so please report them if you notice anything.
  • New inspector window:
    • Merges settings and statistics windows.
    • Will be expanded in future updates.
    • Playback settings allow to adjust playback speed, audio delay and subtitle delay.
  • Key handling is now only done by MPE, which allows these improvements:
    • Pausing sticks! Seek, restart, switch fullscreen etc without MPlayer always unpausing.
    • Framestep now works properly.
    • Escape now exits fullscreen without closing the file.
    • Keys are now all mapped to menu commands (and actually trigger them).
    • ... Which means you can change them in the Keyboard System Prefernces.
  • Much improved parallelized preflight for items added to the playlist.
  • Refactored per-file settings. Files in the playlist will remember their settings and save/load them.
  • Add a recent files menu.
  • Update subtitle scale without restart.
  • Fix playlist toolbar customization.
  • Fix Apple Remote on Snow Leopard.
  • Fix Screensaver prevention on Leopard (hopefully!).
  • Fix auto-updating binary bundles (don't do a restart - MPE now requires a custom Sparkle build).
  • New MPlayer and MPlayer-MT binaries r30229 from 2010-01-05
    • Improved detection of initially selected streams.
    • Switched to up-to-date external libass (version 0.9.8+).

10.5.8 x86 crash on launch, however it works perfect on my macbook core2 running 10.6.2.
Looks like Test3 crashes on launch on 10.5 Intel or PPC, but works fine on 10.6
