  • Redesigned player window! Big thanks to Nick Saia.
  • Restructured volume handling: One global volume plus a new per-item volume boost that can be set in the inspector.
  • Force yuy2 output if available (should be faster and reportedly fixes some longstanding video artifacts).
  • Add support for the new Apple Remote.
  • Slightly tweak remote button handling.
  • New option menu on the player window (stream selection, chapters and fullscreen device) accesible via a button or as a context menu on the video view.
  • Fix aspect ratio not being applied in test6.
  • Fix playlist not getting udpated when opened at launch.
  • Fix continuous playback from the playlist.
  • Fix some MPlayer key commands not showing any OSD feedback.
  • Fix seeking to the last position after a restart.

A problem that has been a reality for some time is that enabling audio or video eq when playing DVD (or video_TS folder), the player window disapears. If the new video eq is enabled before playing it works fine. The audio eq, however, is hard to use, since all settings must be done before the dvd-movie is started.

In last revisions MPE let me do the audio eq change once, while playing a DVD-movie (then it crashed), but now I can not even do it once.
This problem does not seem to apply to regular mpeg files.

I will make this an "issue" and post my log file there.

-Thanks for the other fixes. It is getting nicer and nicer!

When playing a DVD with Open Location > DVD://1 , changing the audio eq does work!

Oh, nice new UI :) I like it, but don't forget the Playlist on the fullscreen controls and while I'm giving feedback, I think you should change the color scheme of the scrub bar. Black triangle on dark-grey is not very visible.
